Dockworker Fueler

At A. Duie Pyle, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Dockworker Fueler to join our team in Elkridge, MD.

This is a full-time position that involves safely transporting freight on and off trailers, verifying related documentation, and fueling company equipment in the yard.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in warehousing, freight handling, and logistics, as well as the ability to follow safety rules and regulations.

• Loading and unloading freight using forklift or electric pallet jack
• Picking, staging, and securing freight inside trailers
• Fueling of company equipment
• Utilizing document management system to track freight shipment locations
• Communicating with terminal personnel and drivers

The successful candidate will also be required to work effectively as part of a team and maintain a flexible schedule, including day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous forklift or material handling experience preferred
• Prior experience in warehousing, freight, and/or logistics preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; communicate effectively

We offer a competitive salary of $21.85 per hour, increasing to $26.65 after 12 months of employment. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as paid vacation and PTO, short-term and long-term disability, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
