Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Travel Radiology Technologist to provide exceptional imaging services in various healthcare settings. This role involves working in a dynamic environment, ensuring high-quality patient care through advanced radiologic techniques.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ND state licensure
  • Preferred Certifications: ARRT, BLS
Job Specifications
  • Specialty: Radiologic Technology (7050)
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shifts: Variable shifts, 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with potential for evening and night shifts plus on-call duties.
Key Responsibilities
  • Proficient in operating C-arm equipment; O-Arm experience is a plus, but training is available.
  • Experience with portable imaging and fluoroscopy is essential.
  • Ability to cover various settings including inpatient, outpatient, operating room, and emergency room.
Scheduling Details
  • Shift Patterns: 8-hour shifts with flexible start times; Day shifts may begin at 0600, 0700, 0730, or 1130; Night shifts primarily from 1900 to 0700, often on weekends.
  • Weekday On-Call: Required after regular shifts, typically 1-2 days a week.
  • Weekend On-Call: Every third weekend, with a start time of 0700 for 12-hour shifts.
  • Holiday Coverage: As needed.
Orientation and Training
  • Dress Code: Scrubs are provided.
  • Orientation Duration: 1.5 to 2 weeks, including clinical and EPIC training.
Department Information
  • Department: Radiology / X-Ray Technology
  • Facility Equipment: OEC C-arms, Metronics O-arm, Fuji portable units, Siemens fluoroscopy systems.
  • Team Structure: Supervisors and coordinators available during day shifts.
  • Radiologist Availability: In-house Monday to Friday; after-hours images are sent to teleradiology.
  • IV Start Requirement: Not required.
  • Work Environment: Collaborative team atmosphere with a strong sense of community.
Additional Considerations
  • Radius Rule: Candidates must reside within 50 miles and cannot be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN at any facility associated with the organization.
  • Request Time Off: Must be submitted upfront; limited additional requests will be considered.
