Emergency Room Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team at Sarah Bush Lincoln Fayette County Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in our ER, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our healthcare team to ensure effective patient outcomes.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care delivery. You will provide clinical leadership to the patient care team for the assigned shift and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement and evaluate patient care delivery.
- Provide clinical leadership to the patient care team for the assigned shift, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective patient outcomes, including medication management, wound care, and patient education.
- Maintain accurate patient records and participate in continuous professional development and training.
- Uphold patient safety and infection control standards, effectively communicate with patients and their families, and work every other weekend as required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department.
- Illinois RN license and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA).
- Non-local candidates (must live beyond a 50-mile radius) and skills checklist pertinent to Emergency Room, current within 1 year.
- Two supervisory references with employment dates.
