We are seeking a skilled Gastrointestinal Specialist to join our team for locum coverage in Gastroenterology.

Job Summary

This is a full-time opportunity requiring the physician to perform procedures, provide inpatient rounding and consultations. The specialist will work Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm with call weeknights and 24-hour weekends.

Schedule/Availability Requirements
  • Shift start and end times: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Call weeknights and 24-hour weekends

The specialist will be required to perform EGD and Colonoscopy procedures, with an average of 6-8 procedures per day. ERCP or EUS procedures are preferred, but not required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR system
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $250,000-$350,000 annually, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.

Setting

This is a hospital setting with no clinic responsibilities. The specialist will work primarily with GI Endoscopy patients, adults, and inpatients.
