We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to join our esteemed team at the University of Kentucky. This role is essential in providing high-quality ultrasound imaging services to support patient care and enhance diagnostic accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in formulating effective treatment plans.
- Engage in quality assurance reviews to uphold professional standards and contribute to the education of students.
- Position patients effectively to ensure optimal imaging results.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate's degree required.
- Experience: No prior experience necessary; we welcome entry-level candidates.
- Certification: Must be registry eligible.
Skills and Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and ultrasound physics.
- Ability to obtain ARDMS certification within the specified timeframe.
Work Schedule
Full-time position with a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with flexibility for additional shifts as required.
