Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Technician to join our team at Edward-Elmhurst Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Under close supervision, you will clean and disinfect assigned areas according to established protocols and procedures.
- You will assist in preparing equipment for patient use, maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, and replenish supplies as needed.
- Transport patients to and from departments as required, and perform general clerical duties such as answering phones and taking messages.
- You will assist in wound care and dressing applications and changes in hydrotherapy.
Requirements:
- You will require a high school level of communication and/or math skills, but no technical training prior to hire and less than three months of previous experience plus approximately one to three months of on-the-job experience.
- American Heart Association or Red Cross certification is required.
