Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized patient care, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for all patients.
- Conduct thorough oral health screenings, including initial mouth examinations and oral health history assessments.
- Identify and address conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis, and develop effective treatment plans.
- Perform routine cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to help protect patients' teeth and prevent oral health issues.
- Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene techniques, including good brushing and flossing habits.
- Collaborate with dentists to select appropriate treatments for various diseases, including oral cancer.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and charts.
- Monitor and manage dental supplies to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a Dental Hygienist, preferably in a periodontal setting.
- State-specific Dental Hygiene license or certifications required.
- Local anesthesia certification preferred.
