Automotive Service Technician - Kahlig Auto Group

As a technician, you will be tasked with diagnosing and repairing vehicles for both clients and the dealership, while fostering positive relationships with customers who may return with concerns about previous work. Integrity and hard work are the cornerstones of our operation, and we seek individuals who share these values.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose vehicle issues
- Collaborate with the shop foreman or service advisor regarding repairs
- Communicate additional service needs to the service advisor
- Coordinate work processes with the shop foreman
- Provide labor time estimates to the service advisor
- Track repair time and keep the service advisor updated
- Adhere strictly to dealership policies regarding vehicle maintenance and operation
- Document repair stories and/or client repairs
- Assist in training and mentoring new technicians
- Participate in company and manufacturer training sessions
- Stay informed about factory technical bulletins
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with 1 to 3 months of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licenses and Certifications
Valid Operator Driver License is necessary.
