We are currently seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join our OB/GYN practice in Tampa, FL. This role requires shared call responsibilities and a structured office schedule. **Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience.**
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in GYN is advantageous. Background in women's health and certification as a nurse midwife are beneficial.
Essential Certifications: Candidates must possess a Florida RN/APRN license or the ability to obtain one, along with AMCB Certification, BLS, and NRP certifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations and provide diagnoses and treatment for health conditions.
- Ensure timely completion of patient documentation.
- Assist with administrative tasks as directed by the supervising physician.
- Participate in scheduled call rotations.
- Document hospital visits accurately and promptly.
- Engage in professional development activities, including conferences and meetings.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Normal physical capabilities.
- Strong concentration and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage stress effectively.
Occupational Hazards:
- Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemical hazards.
Qualifications:
- Florida RN/APRN license or the ability to obtain one.
- AMCB Certification – CNM certification is mandatory.
- BLS and NRP certifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in computer usage.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Shared call and office schedule is a requirement.
- Experience in GYN is preferred.
- Background in women's health and certification as a nurse midwife are advantageous.
