Case Management RN Leader

We are seeking a seasoned RN with leadership experience to oversee our case management team in El Paso, TX. As a Manager of Case Management RN, you will coordinate the delivery of medical services and discharge planning for a diverse patient population, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting a seamless transition of care.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the case management team, ensuring efficient delivery of services and adherence to regulatory standards
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers, facilitating clear communication and addressing concerns
- Conduct concurrent and retrospective reviews of patient medical records to ensure compliance with payer requirements and quality assurance
- Collaborate with Patient Access, Patient Account Services, and Central Verification Office to manage pre-certification, admissions status, and payer information
- Identify and recommend alternate financial resources or care options when necessary and initiate expedited appeals processes with payers
- Educate patients and families about the case management process and serve as a resource for navigating their care
- RN licensure in Texas or a Compact State
- Associates Degree or BSN to be completed within 3 years of hire
- Minimum of 2 years of case management experience in an acute care setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a commitment to patient-centered care
