About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Specialist to join our team at Hillcrest Hospital South. As a key member of our cardiovascular department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our hospital's mission of delivering state-of-the-art technology in a friendly, community setting.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and coworkers with complex catheterization procedures, monitoring patient vital signs and interpreting patient status information.
  • Perform duties as a scrub assistant, assisting team members with retrieving supplies and operating equipment.
  • Educate patients, family members, and team members on various aspects of cardiovascular care.
  • Accurately process results, archive images, and stock inventory.
  • Provide patient care for a diverse population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
  • Contribute to performance improvement initiatives through quality improvement processes.
  • Maintain a sterile and clean work environment at all times.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology or related field.
  • Must possess an ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification.
  • A minimum of one year of direct experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are essential.
