Occupational Therapist - Precision Care Specialist

Key Responsibilities


  • Efficiently and accurately provide evidence-based speech and language evaluations under the direction of the Director of Rehabilitation Services.
  • Determine and create appropriate treatment plans for new and existing Blackbird patients in collaboration with other specialty providers.
  • Develop positive, trusting rapport with patients and involve family members when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other specialty providers to establish Integrated Treatment Plans.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress and refer patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary.
  • Navigate electronic medical record systems efficiently and complete all necessary clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Attend and actively contribute to regular team meetings, providing valuable input on clinical and administrative matters.
  • Stay current with advances in technology and healthcare through ongoing professional development and continuing education.


Requirements


  • Possess a Master's degree or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
  • Hold active occupational therapy licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Hold Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
  • Display flexibility to work a hybrid schedule with one day a week onsite at the Allentown location and the remainder of the time remotely.
  • Be able to complete 60-minute evaluations with 30-minute documentation time and 2 hours of administrative time for team meetings.
  • Have a flexible schedule allowing for morning and evening evaluation ability as well as weekday and weekend availability.


Knowledge/Skills


  • A minimum of 2 years of experience providing occupational therapy services to clients, preferably in a clinical/telehealth setting.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in navigating electronic medical record systems and other relevant technology.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with patients, provider partners, and colleagues.
  • Open to professional and clinical feedback and interested in working in a supportive and collegial clinical environment.
  • Flexibility to adjust to a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness.


Salary Range

The target range for this position is $40-$45 an hour for direct clinical service. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors, including licensure, experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
