Job Title: MRI Aide

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate MRI Aide to join our team at New York Sports and Joints. As a key member of our MRI Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and comfort during MRI scans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exceptional Patient Care: Provide warm and empathetic greetings to patients, address their concerns, and offer emotional support to create a positive experience.
  • Patient Education: Clearly explain MRI procedures to patients, answer their questions, and reduce anxiety by offering reassuring information.
  • Safe and Comfortable Environment: Create a welcoming and safe atmosphere in the MRI suite by assisting with patient positioning and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Effective Communication: Collaborate with radiologic technologists and physicians to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive experience.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure work areas are spotless and organized to create a hygienic and pleasant environment for patients.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: One to two years of experience in MRI or a similar healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge: Basic knowledge of MRI procedures and safety.
  • Certifications: CPR certification (or willingness to obtain it).
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Physical Qualifications: Full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, as well as manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
