Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and Unload Products: Safely operate a tractor trailer or straight truck to deliver and unload food and food-related products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate with Customers and Vendors: Interact with customers and vendors in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform Safety Checks: Conduct pre- and post-trip safety checks to ensure that the tractor trailer or straight truck is in good working condition and meets company safety standards.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Complete all required paperwork, including delivery records and inventory checks, in an accurate and legible fashion.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work collaboratively with other drivers and warehouse staff to ensure that deliveries are made on time and that customer needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL-B: Possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License.
  • High School Diploma/GED: Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clean MVR: Have a clean motor vehicle record for the past three years.
  • Pass Post-Offer Drug Test and Background Check: Pass a post-offer drug test and background check.
  • DOT Health Card: Possess a valid current DOT Health Card or be able to secure a new one.
