Job Summary

The Fleet Vehicle Service Technician is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the quality and delivery of our services to our crews and patients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for retrieving vehicles due for service or repair, with the goal of reducing downtime and increasing the quality of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics as needed to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Perform small repairs and installs using AMR-supplied tools
  • Conduct vehicle switches to bring vehicles in for maintenance and repair
  • Clean ambulances and other field vehicles inside and out
  • Clean and organize the Fleet shop
  • Check and top off vehicle fluids prior to rig swaps
  • Ensure the workspace is clean and organized
  • Document condition of ambulance at EOS and schedule preparedness for shift personnel
  • Update crew in service formation on computer for equipment tracking
  • Respond to daily phone inquiries from crews to facilitate coordination between departments
Requirements
  • Some experience in the industry preferred
  • Some mechanical experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid State Driver's License
