Job Title: Clinical Research Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Research Operations Manager to join our team at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. As a key member of our research operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our clinical research studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional support to our research staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of clinical research studies, including protocol development, subject recruitment, and data collection.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GCP, ICH, and FDA regulations.
  • Provide training and guidance to research staff on operational procedures, regulatory requirements, and study protocols.
  • Collaborate with research staff, investigators, and sponsors to ensure timely and efficient study conduct.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including CROs, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and complete records of study activities, including subject consent forms, study protocols, and regulatory documents.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance study efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as clinical research, public health, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical research operations, including experience with study management, regulatory compliance, and staff training.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience with clinical trial management systems (CTMS) and electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
  • Certification in clinical research, such as CCRA or CCRP.
