Senior Companion Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Companion to join our team at Visiting Angels of Winston-Salem, NC.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide emotional support and companionship to seniors in their own homes, enhancing their quality of life and promoting independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients in conversation, play games, or participate in activities
  • Assist with daily activities, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Provide physical support, such as walking or transferring clients
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition or concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of client activity

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of caregiving experience
  • CNA certification required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dementia/Alzheimer's experience a plus
