Operating Room Nurse

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room team in Malden, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Operating Room. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operating room workflow.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and surgical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the surgeon or anesthesiologist.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the surgical team.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest surgical techniques and best practices.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
- Experience in the Operating Room, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
