About the Role:

Amedisys is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals in their homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in adults.
  • Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
  • Work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology specific to the state of assignment.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate coursework and clinical practicum.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Preferred: One (1+) year of experience in speech pathology.
