Job Summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the front end and sales floor
  • Restock shelves and merchandise as needed
  • Assist with special projects and tasks as directed by management
Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations
  • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements of the position
  • Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform the job
  • Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days
Working Conditions

The Cashier will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent interactions with customers and colleagues. The position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and using a cash register and other equipment.
