Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Hospitalist team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our hospital's clinical practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide evidence-based treatments to patients with complex medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with attending physicians, primary nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, contribute to patient care decisions, and provide education to patients and families on disease management and self-care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure patient-centered care and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research, guidelines, and best practices in hospital medicine to provide high-quality care and contribute to the development of our hospital's clinical practices.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York.
  • Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
