We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced physician leader to serve as the Chief of Ambulatory Care at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of clinical providers and oversee the operational services of the Ambulatory Care department.
Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and guidance to the clinical providers in Ambulatory Care
- Oversee the operational services of the department, in conjunction with the Ambulatory Care administrative lead
- Represent Ambulatory Care facility-wide and participate in system-wide and facility-based meetings
- Oversee Ambulatory Care performance metrics and performance improvement initiatives
- Board Certification in an Ambulatory Care Specialty Field
- MD or DO training
- Minimum 5 years' experience practicing medicine as a board certified physician
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Experience serving an under-served patient population preferred
