We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at the Justice, Bureau of Prisons/Federal Prison System. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients referred by other medical staff. Your duties will include performing physical therapy evaluations, formulating treatment plans, and providing treatments utilizing various accepted techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform physical therapy evaluations to assess patient needs
• Formulate objective treatment plans to achieve patient goals
• Provide treatments for patients referred by other medical staff using various accepted techniques
• Develop and implement treatments tailored to individual patient needs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records according to established policy and licensure requirements
• Make recommendations on policy, procedures, training, personnel, and equipment to enhance patient care and service delivery
Salary Information:
This position is classified as a GS-0640-13 with an estimated salary range of $85,434 - $111,246 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Please note that this information is based on the current pay scale and may be subject to change.
Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, you must have a graduate degree in physical therapy from an institution accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHEP) or a professional accrediting organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Additionally, you must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physical Therapist and at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level in federal service.
