Job Summary

Parrish Medical Center is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing CT scanning procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

About the Role

This is a per diem opportunity that requires flexibility in scheduling. We offer a competitive salary of $63,000 per year, along with a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and ensure optimal imaging results through proper technical factors, positioning, and equipment selection.
  • Interview patients and their families to collect relevant information and educate them on procedure processes and post-procedure care.
  • Administer contrast agents as needed, following department guidelines and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and timely computer entries, including exam status changes, billing corrections, and patient tracking.
  • Cleanliness and general order of procedure rooms are essential to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent required; military training accepted.
  • 1-2 years of experience preferred.
  • Florida State DOH License and RT(R) registration through ARRT required.
  • BLS through The American Heart Association required.
