Job SummaryWe are seeking skilled Laborer/CDL Drivers who are local to the Redding/Arcata area to join our team. This role will report to the Market Manager and offers a unique opportunity to be part of a growing company, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to the development of a first-class fiber optic utility construction firm.
Responsibilities- Perform general laborer duties and support on construction sites, utilizing various equipment, hand, and power tools.
- Prepare ground trenches for pipes and utility lines, remove, fill, or compact earth as needed.
- Signal equipment operators to ensure alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery conform to grade and utility safety standards.
- Responsible for site set-up and clean-up, loading and unloading tools, materials, and equipment on truck.
- Participate in new site Job Safety Analysis (JSA) prior to starting construction and set up safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers.
- May be required to work overtime, after hours, on weekends, or be on-call as work is needed to ensure timely completion.
- Commercial driving and/or heavy equipment operation experience (>1 year)

Estimated hourly pay is anticipated to be between $26-$30. Actual pay will be based on multiple factors including experience, skill sets, location, internal equity, and market rates.
