Job Summary

The MRI Technologist assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission, and critical goals of the organization into their job performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for the operation of MRI equipment and ensure proper maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure accurate and efficient patient imaging.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Provide education and training to patients and staff on MRI procedures and safety protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements
  • 2 years of recent experience as an MRI Technologist.
  • 1 year of recent experience specializing in MRI.
  • Current MRI Technologist certification within the state of practice.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.
