Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our Local Specialty Pharmacy team. As a key member of our pharmacy leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving business growth through strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the pharmacy department, including staff supervision, workflow management, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability, including market research, competitor analysis, and sales forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, OSHA, and state-specific laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, prescribers, and payers.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and tracking of medications and supplies.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are knowledgeable about products, services, and policies.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, including sales, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
Requirements
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited educational institute.
  • Current pharmacist license in the states within the district.
  • At least 1 year pharmacy experience, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
  • Has completed specialized training regarding medication and disease state or has sufficient practical experience that is necessary to provide specialized services offered at clinic location (HIV, Organ Transplant, Oncology, etc.).
