Kennedy Meadows, a premier independent living community for active seniors, is seeking a full-time Sous Chef II to join our culinary team. This position offers a Thursday to Sunday schedule, allowing for a great work-life balance.
About the Role:
This position involves preparing nutritious and appetizing meals, working collaboratively with other culinary services members to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, professional, and energetic personality, with a passion for improving the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals from established menus and recipes
- Experience in institutional or full-service restaurant cooking
- Knowledge of food service sanitation practices and ability to conform to regulations
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with residents
- Organizational skills and ability to work well under time constraints
