We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing and completing diagnostic CT examinations accurately and efficiently, while providing exceptional patient care and service.
Key Responsibilities- Select and apply proper technical factors for study, ensuring high-quality CT images are obtained.
- Assist in the administration of contrast media and other related procedures, maintaining a safe and respectful environment for patients.
- Prepare, transfer, and position patients as needed, ensuring modesty and safety.
- Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time.
- Remain proficient in executing software protocols and keep up to date with changes in the field by in-service study, attending courses or seminars as necessary/recommended.
- Maintain proactive and effective communication with patients and other caregiver colleagues to include the radiologist.
- Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with linens and necessary supplies.
- Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT)

- Associate Degree
