Pediatric Associates is seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Gainesville, Florida. This is an opportunity to work in a well-run practice with a highly competent and motivated team of clinicians and staff. You will be supported and have the resources you need to care for your patients. Our clinicians share the privilege of rounding on newborn patients at a local hospital.

Gainesville offers a vibrant community with many activities for families. Explore 30+ miles of biking and hiking trails, take a dive into one of the crystal clear freshwater springs, attend performances at the Dance Alive National Ballet, or spend the day at the Cade Museum of Creativity.

Schedule:

  • 3 or 4 days 2PM-7PM
  • Fridays 8:30AM-5PM
  • 1 Saturday per 4 weeks 8AM-12PM
  • Rounding 1 weekday and 1:4 weekends

Requirements:

2+ years of experience working as a general pediatrics provider is required.

Education:

  • Completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
  • Current, or ability to obtain an unrestricted license in the state of Florida
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
