Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Creative Visual Producer to join our team at WestEd. This role involves creating high-quality visual content, including reports, branded materials, and PowerPoint decks using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in graphic design, production, and accessibility.

About the Role

This is a dynamic position that requires a proactive, flexible, and detail-oriented individual who can maintain, update, and leverage pre-existing templates for work. You will adapt new content to existing templates or create newly designed products as necessary. Your expertise in production, design, and accessibility issues will be invaluable in addressing case-by-case solutions and achievable suggestions for improving processes.

The Ideal Candidate

To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of production experience, including experience with producing accessible documents. A bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field is required. Additionally, you should be authorized to work in the United States and have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

- Create documents in various applications, primarily using and adapting existing templates.
- Adapt new content to existing templates or create newly designed products as necessary.
- Ensure consistency and fidelity with agency templates and custom designs.
- Collaborate with WestEd's accessibility specialists and confer with relevant authors or editors about any editorial questions that might arise in the production process.
- Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications and work as the lead liaison with printers and other vendors.

- A competitive salary range of $76,320 to $114,500, commensurate with experience.
