Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Flight Test team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for flight test equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for flight test equipment, including installation and validation of 3D CATIA designs.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, internal teams, and customers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
  • Provide technical engineering support for installation and testing at various locations, including CONUS and OCONUS sites.
  • Develop and maintain engineering documents, work instructions, and technical procedures.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers to lead complex projects and ensure successful outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with CATIA V5, V4, or similar software.
  • Experience in aircraft manufacture or operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in CATIA V5 mechanical design.
  • Familiarity with sensor technology and aircraft structures.
  • Strong communication and people skills, with ability to work in a diverse team environment.
