Memory Support Supervisor

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Memory Support Supervisor to join our team at Bella Mar at Delray Beach. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for managing and implementing our 'Moments Matter' memory support programming, ensuring that all scheduled activities are executed smoothly, and providing exceptional care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain the Resident Well-Being binder, including the Get to Know Me document, Resident Well-Being Profile, and Know the 25.
- Implement and oversee the Memory Support Signature programs, including Taste & Tell, Community Service Project, Hydration Stations, and Essential Health Program.
- Lead activities as scheduled or oversee Memory Support Specialists and care staff to ensure resident engagement and daily activity programming.
- Coordinate with the Director of Health and Wellness to attend family care conferences and provide Memory Support program updates.
- Work with Leisure & Lifestyle staff to ensure Memory Support residents have resident-specific activity and social interaction.
- Manage, coach, and mentor care staff to maintain positive resident outcomes and minimize behavioral conflicts.
- Meet with the Culinary Director to coordinate Taste & Tell program and ensure Memory Support meals meet organizational standards.
- Review the 24-hour log daily and conduct regular room sweeps to ensure safety and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with resident family members and work in a safe manner.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Health Services, Social Services, or Geriatrics preferred.
- 4+ years of management experience with employee oversight and customer relations preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a dementia care setting preferred.
- Prior experience in recreation, occupational therapy, art, music therapy, hospitality management, teaching, or coaching preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
