- Willingness to attend deliveries or receive training for delivery attendance
- Valid CA RN License
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
- At least 3 years of experience in a Level 3 NICU setting
- Ability to attend deliveries or undergo training for such
- AHA certifications are required for BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.
- FACIS Level 3 search must be conducted within two weeks of employment and monthly thereafter
- Medi-Cal Suspended and Ineligible Provider List search is necessary if FACIS III cannot be run monthly
- Personal or auto insurance may be required for specific roles
- Education verification processes must be completed
- National licensure and certification verifications are mandatory
- Facility-specific documentation and policies must be reviewed and signed
- Competency exams may be required in certain circumstances
- Health documentation requirements must be met
- Numerous additional certifications and facility-specific requirements apply
