Job Summary

As a skilled Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality radiographs of patients using departmental and portable equipment. You will ensure compliance with radiation safety guidelines, utilize personal protective equipment, and operate radiographic equipment safely and competently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain quality radiographs of patients within the department and with portable equipment
  • Comply with radiation safety guidelines and utilize personal protective equipment
  • Operate radiographic equipment safely and competently
  • Perform computer operations, including Meditech and PACS
  • Verify proper charges and referring physician's orders
  • Rend patient care in a professional and courteous manner
  • Prepare examination rooms for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures
  • Monitor inventory of supplies and maintain room cleanliness
  • Assist the radiologist in administering medications and contrast agents
  • Review exams for technical accuracy and complete verification process in PACS
  • Assist with PACS clean up and maintain personal educational requirements
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Continuing education credits as mandated by the ARRT for licensure
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification
Work Environment

This is a 7 on 7 off 12-hour position with overnight shifts. Shared housing is available, but candidates must have their own transportation and meet COVID and flu vaccine requirements.
