Substitute Teacher

We are seeking a qualified Substitute Teacher to join our team at River Delta Unified School District.

The Substitute Teacher will provide instruction and support to students in a classroom setting, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of teaching principles and practices, as well as the ability to adapt to different curriculum and instructional methods.

• Provide instruction and support to students in a classroom setting
• Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Valid Teaching Credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
• Experience in teaching or instructional support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to different curriculum and instructional methods

The Substitute Teacher will work in a classroom environment, with occasional opportunities to work in other settings. The ideal candidate will be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods, as well as lift and move objects as needed.
