Job Title: Wheelchair Van Driver

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Wheelchair Van Driver to join our team at Community LIFE. As a key member of our transportation team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our program participants to and from their destinations.

Job Summary:

The Wheelchair Van Driver will be responsible for transporting program participants to and from the day center, their residence, and outside appointments and activities. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport program participants to and from the day center, their residence, and outside appointments and activities
  • Deliver medical equipment and supplies as requested by the Transportation Supervisor
  • Ensure the safe and efficient transportation of program participants
  • Communicate effectively with program participants, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Maintain a clean and safe vehicle
Requirements:
  • Valid PA Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical
  • Five years of driving experience required
  • Previous transportation, DME, and/or supply experience preferred
