Job Summary:

Meadville Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Certified Athletic Trainer to join our Sports Medicine team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide top-notch athletic training services to student athletes at the collegiate, high school, and junior high/middle school levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide athletic training services to athletes within the Meadville Medical Center Sports Medicine network.
  • Deliver medical coverage at assigned practices, events, and tournaments.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Sports Medicine team, displaying adaptability in communication style as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members, including our Medical Director, Orthopedic Associates of Meadville (OAM) surgeons/staff, and rehabilitative therapists to efficiently share workload in a team approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a variety of work settings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Be in good current standing with the BOC.
  • Licensed as a Certified Athletic Trainer through the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine.
  • AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification (may be obtained upon hire).
