Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver high-quality service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Maintain Store Facilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs to buildings, equipment, and utility systems to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Travel and Accommodations: Travel overnight frequently to perform maintenance tasks at various store locations.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe driving and working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Store Visits and Inspections: Conduct regular store visits to identify and perform building and ground repair work, ensuring stores meet AutoZone's standards.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine and general repair maintenance, as well as troubleshoot minor maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair or maintenance.
  • Work Order Management: Create, manage, and monitor necessary work for all assigned stores in our Work Order Management System.
  • Vendor Management: Assist with identifying vendors in support of stores.
  • Energy Management System: Perform diagnostics on our Energy Management System.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Properly maintain company vehicles and report any maintenance issues.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Be available to work all hours of operation and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Compliance and Policy Adherence: Follow all company policies, procedures, and management direction, including fleet and safety policies.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
  • Experience: 1-2 years of previous maintenance experience or equivalent education.
  • Certifications: HVAC certifications preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Electrical, plumbing, and general construction skills.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license and ability to meet AutoZone's driving requirements.
  • Age: 21 years or older.
