**About the Role:**
We are seeking a skilled healthcare technologist to join our team at Intermountain Health. As a diagnostic radiology technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team by performing medical imaging examinations under the direction of a physician.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce high-quality x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by the physician or radiologist, ensuring clear and undistorted films.
Position and instruct patients regarding x-ray procedures, promoting patient comfort and safety.
Perform x-ray procedures using portable machines as requested by Emergency Department and nursing units, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Maintain X-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
Promote effective working relations and work effectively as part of a department/unit team inter- and intra-departmentally, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent, required.
- Successful completion of an approved radiological training program, required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association, required.
Additional Information:
This is a part-time position with variable shifts. The hourly range for this position is $28.15 - $43.42 per hour, depending on experience.
