Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse Supervisor in the Pediatric CVICU at Atrium Health Charlotte, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Assist the manager with daily operations, including coordination of patient care, allocation of resources, and communication with patients, families, and staff
  • Collaborate with the manager to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care and staff development
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and staff satisfaction
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina
  • Minimum two years of nursing experience, with at least one year in a leadership role
  • BSN required; RN candidates without a BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within one year of hire and complete the program within three years
  • Appropriate professional certification (clinical or leadership) within one year of eligibility
