Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Cynet Health. As a Pediatric ICU RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients based on initial and ongoing assessments.
- Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician's medical diagnosis, and functional health frameworks.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
- Document care according to standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.
- Act as a resource nurse or extra set of hands in various departments when floating.
- Maintain a flexible and adaptive approach to work, floating to different units as required.
- Minimum 2 years of previous clinical pediatric experience and 2 years of PICU experience.
- Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
- BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) certifications.
- Ability to float to various units within the facility including adult units, pediatric emergency department, and mother/baby units.
- Weekly pay range: $2164 to $2404.
- 36 hours per week guaranteed.
- Every other weekend required, holidays as needed, on-call required (not often).
