Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse to join our team at the Department of Veterans Affairs. As a Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to our patients and contribute to a positive work environment.

About the Job

This is a part-time position with a competitive salary range of $73,828 - $133,233 per year. You will be working in Albuquerque, NM, and will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our nation's veterans.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Nurse will include:
  • Providing prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to ill and injured veterans
  • Documenting observations, assessments, and changes in patient's condition
  • Collaborating with health team members to facilitate positive patient care outcomes
  • Accountable for meeting and maintaining the qualification standards and functional statements of assigned grade

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
  • English Language Proficiency
  • Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or the District of Columbia

Working Conditions

This position requires heavy lifting, heavy carrying, straight pulling and pushing, reaching above shoulder, use of fingers, both hands required, walking and standing up to 8 hours, repeated bending, ability for rapid mental and muscular coordination simultaneously, hearing aid permitted.
