About the Job:
Certified diagnostic radiology technologists are in high demand, and we have an exciting opportunity for a traveling professional to join our team. As a travel diagnostic radiology technologist, you will work with various healthcare systems, gaining valuable experience and expanding your skill set.
Compensation:
We offer competitive pay rates, ranging from $2045.29 to $2356.53 per hour, depending on experience and location. This is a 13-week assignment, and you can expect a generous package that includes medical, dental, vision benefits, 401(k), flex spending, life insurance, accident, and short-term disability coverage, as well as free continuing education opportunities.
Responsibilities:
As a diagnostic radiology technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines, fluoroscopy units, and computed tomography (CT) scanners. You will work closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient diagnosis and treatment. Your duties may include:
- Preparing patients for exams, explaining procedures, and positioning them correctly
- Operating imaging equipment, adjusting settings, and taking images as needed
- Analyzing images, identifying abnormalities, and communicating results to healthcare teams
- Collaborating with radiologists, nurses, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintaining equipment, reporting issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A valid Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license
- ARRT(R) certification
- BLS (AHA) certification
- EPIC experience
- 2+ years of experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably with OR/Fluoro and portable X-Ray experience
- Familiarity with GE, Philips, and Siemens equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
