Position Summary:
The Senior Analyst role is pivotal in shaping and executing effective liquidity strategies across various business lines and legal entities. This position involves critical oversight of liquidity utilization and contributions to process enhancements, operational risk management, and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, analyze, and report on the organization's current and projected liquidity status, providing strategic guidance to enhance liquidity positions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory liquidity reporting standards by overseeing processes, risks, and controls.
  • Collaborate with different business units to establish limits and guidelines that align with overall business objectives and risk frameworks.
  • Monitor liquidity risk trends and develop enhanced reporting capabilities to reflect business activities and their impact on liquidity.
  • Review and maintain documentation to ensure compliance with liquidity regulations.
  • Streamline reporting processes and enhance analytical capabilities through the use of advanced technologies.
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly reports, disclosures, and presentations for various committees and regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and refine liquidity stress testing models and assumptions.
  • Engage with business partners to strategize on improving liquidity management efficiency.
  • Analyze new business initiatives to evaluate their liquidity and funding implications.

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, particularly in financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience in managing liquidity and regulatory compliance.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data analysis and trend identification.
  • Ability to work independently and drive project objectives across various functions.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience working with financial products and engaging with business leaders in a large organization.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
