Job Title: Cardiac Rehabilitation Registered Nurse

Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals at Saint Mary's Medical Center, a faith-based, 146-bed acute care hospital offering a wide range of services, including 24-hour Emergency Department, Joint and Spine Institute, Surgical Services, and outpatient services.

About the Role:

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care within the scope of practice in the Outpatient Services setting. The nurse communicates with physicians, Director of Surgical Services, House Supervisor, and co-workers about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice in the Outpatient Services setting.
  • Communicates with physicians, Director of Surgical Services, House Supervisor, and co-workers about changes in the patient's clinical condition.
  • Coordinates the care of the patient with the surgeon and/or anesthesiologist.
  • Directs and guides other personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Outpatient Department.
  • Works with other departments and co-workers to provide quality patient care across the continuum, efficient patient flow, and unit maintenance and organization.
Qualifications:
  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • ACLS 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
  • PALS 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
  • Previous acute care hospital experience; preferred.
  • Moderate Sedation competency completed within 30 days upon hire.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
