Superbeo is currently in search of a dedicated and experienced Medical Physicist specializing in Radiation Oncology. We are looking for a Board Eligible or Board Certified professional who is committed to delivering high-quality, collaborative care in a clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.
- Participate in an on-call rotation with a ratio of 1:2.
- No weekend shifts required.
- Engage in the provision of safe and effective therapeutic radiological physics within the Radiation Oncology Department.
- Ensure the safety and quality of equipment, and uphold standards of patient care while participating in educational activities as per regulatory guidelines.
- Utilize advanced technologies including SRS, SBRT, IMRT, DIBH, gating, SGRT, and 3D Conformal techniques.
- Contribute to the operation of two linear accelerators and manage patient-specific quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, and Radiation Therapists.
- Work alongside the Chief of Physics to calibrate and commission linear accelerators and other radiation sources, ensuring quality assurance of equipment and treatment plans.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Master's or Doctorate in Radiology/Radiological Sciences is required.
- Must be TRULY US Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Board of Medical Physics (ABMP).
- Registration in Iowa as a Radiation Therapy Physicist is mandatory.
- Possession of a clean malpractice history is essential.
- Visa support for J1 or H1B candidates is available.
