In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of incoming materials and parts, as well as developing and implementing strategies to enhance quality control procedures and increase efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement inspection procedures and key quality metrics for incoming materials, including headlamp and mirror system components, to verify they meet required quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinate and perform testing and analysis of incoming parts and materials to assess their suitability for production.
  • Utilize various testing methods to evaluate material properties and performance.
  • Identify, analyze, and report defects or non-conformities in incoming parts and materials.
  • Work with engineers to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to address quality issues and ensure seamless integration of incoming materials into the production process.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance quality control procedures and increase efficiency.
  • Analyze and address customer feedback related to quality issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to local workers on quality control techniques, procedures, and standards.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming parts and materials and conduct supplier audits.
  • Provide quality support for new product introductions, including evaluating new suppliers and materials.
  • Assess and manage risks associated with incoming materials, including potential impacts on production and product quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department, applying Lean and Six Sigma principles to enhance quality control processes.

Ensure that all incoming materials and parts meet industry regulations and standards, including those specific to automotive headlamps and mirror systems.
