We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Teller I to join our team at TD Bank, N.A. As a Teller I, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while processing financial transactions, answering customer inquiries, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Provide legendary customer service to customers while processing financial transactions, including cashing checks, accepting loan payments, and processing sales of gift cards.
- Conduct needs-based conversations with customers to offer financial solutions and meet their needs.
- Make quality referrals to appropriate partners to ensure customers receive the best possible service.
- Responsible for meeting individual performance metrics and adhering to safe deposit box procedures and guidelines.
- Services both lobby and drive-thru customers, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
- Accountable for cash drawers and vaults, maintaining appropriate cash limits and securing cash at all times.
- Ensure confidential customer information is securely stored throughout the day.
- Understand and follow Dual Control procedures to minimize potential loss.
- Comply with all regulations, policies, and procedures, including the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 6 months+ related experience preferred.
- Superior customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- General math skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to be concise, clear, and consistent.
