Job Summary:

Maxicare Select, Inc. is seeking a Per-diem Home Health Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in the greater Kendall area. As a licensed and accredited private duty home health agency, we focus on delivering exceptional service to our patients. We are looking for a compassionate and reliable individual to join our team as a Home Health Care Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Maintain Effective Relationships: Build strong working relationships with patients, their families, medical staff, and other members of the care team.
  • Assess and Plan Patient Care: Conduct patient-specific assessments and develop personalized care plans to maximize outcomes within the scope of practice for a Home Health setting.
  • Administer Medications and Treatments: Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and Record Patient Progress: Continuously monitor and record patients' progress to ensure accurate documentation and effective care.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Nursing Knowledge: Continuously review and update nursing knowledge to provide the highest level of care.
Requirements:
  • Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
  • Current BLS Certification: Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Home Health Experience: Previous Home Health experience is preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure accurate documentation and effective communication.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving, Organizational, and Time Management Skills: Possess excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to Work Independently and Collaboratively: Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
